Band updates!

September 3, 2013

First of all, we are very excited about our upcoming show this Friday, Sept. 6. We’re playing at The Earl in Atlanta, opening for Sealions and our good friends Jungol. What makes this show even more exciting than it already is (We know, you’re thinking, “how is that even possible?!”), is that Jungol is releasing a new single that day, as well as the DVD of their film Go Softly.

Doors open at 9 p.m. EST. Details here.

So what else has been going on with the band, you ask? Well, a few things:

Adam and Josh have been working on film projects.

In the upcoming film R.V.M., Adam plays a serial killer named Randall V. Maitlyn. They’ve set up an IndieGoGo fundraiser for the film – click here – and you can see the trailer and some interviews. (You’ll also hear some music from our latest release fig. in the background as well.)

Josh is finishing up a slasher film called Death to the World. He plays a killer named “Nick” in a small Alabama town. The film is in post-production and will be setting a release date soon. (Another film that Josh is in was released on DVD in July. It’s a campy, zombie film called Gut Munchers. Some music from our first album, Hymns of Mare Nostrum, can be heard in that film.)

Josh is also releasing his third solo acoustic album on Oct. 10. It’s titled Ghost of a Town.

In the meantime, be sure to visit RAD! Vinyl to pick up your very own copy of the fig. 12″ EP.

Fig. vinyl sounds great! Cranked it last night for the first time since I picked it up at Rad the other day!
