Review: “…the thrilling new debut album by Hail The Titans”

November 16, 2011

INsite Magazine, “Atlanta’s Entertainment Monthly,” published a review of “Hymns of Mare Nostrum” in this month’s edition, and it made the “Dean’s List” review category.

Along with calling it “powerful prog for the 21st century indie scene,” they went on to say:

“In contrast to the tide of beige currently drowning indie rock is this, the thrilling new debut album by Hail The Titans.”

“Their sound exists firmly along the Mogwai/Explosions in the Sky/Slint/Mars Volta axis of brawny n’ spacey instrumental rock.”

and…

“This stands proudly alongside Mogwai’s “Young Team” or Explosions’ “How Strange, Innocent” as a post-rock debut worth embracing. “
